Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register for a class?
Pick a date on the schedule below and register online, it takes about a minute and your spot is confirmed on the spot. Don't see a date that works? Contact us and we find one for you.
Do I need any medical experience?
None. Heartsaver and Family & Friends CPR are built for everyday people with zero background, no jargon, no assumptions, just clear instruction you will actually remember. If you are a nurse, EMT, or other provider who needs a current card, BLS and ACLS are your track.
What card will I receive, and how long is it valid?
Most of our courses issue an official American Heart Association completion card, valid two years, which is the credential most employers and licensing boards require. That covers BLS, ACLS, and every Heartsaver course. A few are built differently on purpose: Family and Friends CPR is for people who want the skill without the card, and Stop the Bleed and First on the Scene are national programs from the American College of Surgeons and NAEMT. Each course page tells you exactly what you leave with.
What is the HeartCode online option?
Too busy for a full day in a classroom? Complete the knowledge portion online, on your own schedule, then come in for a short hands-on skills session to finish. Same card, a fraction of the seat time.
Can you train my whole team or business?
Yes, and it costs less than sending people one at a time. We bring CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed training on-site for businesses, schools, and organizations, with group rates. Contact us and we will get a date on the calendar.
